Is Today THE Day??!

Since the start of rainy season (June) and more so, since the start of this last hot season (October), my team has told me many times that the month of October was another mini-hot season. (Mini because of the length not the degree of temperature.) It has also been related that through the end of October, the temperatures begin to drop - promising the arrival of cold season - until one day you wake up and the temperature has changed. One day, it continues to get hot during the day and the next - cool all day.

For the last few weeks, we have begun to see the change here - the evenings and mornings are definitely cooler. I have begun sleeping with the fan again and the last few mornings I have woken up cold!! (What a joyfully wonderous feeling!) In fact, the last few nights I have consistently turned down the fan speed to 2 and then 3!

Well, today I wonder if today is THE day!! Though it is still warmish outside (the web temperature indicates 34 degrees) the wind is blowing and there is a coolness in the air!! Perhaps cold season is here today or just closer to being here! In either case, this has brought excitement to my soul!
