Small Pleasures

Monday evening, I walked into a little corner store in my neighbourhood and found a small pleasure . . .

A box of cheerios!!!

This is the first box of cheerios I have seen in 1 year!! It was the only box in the store. And I did not even hesitate. I was there to buy butter and I walked straight to the shelf and picked up my box in one straight line from the entrance!

Mmmm . . .

The box has seen better days but I was happy to see it had not yet expired. The cereal does not even taste stale - slightly different tasting, but that could be the powdered milk.

My newest small pleasure cost me the equivalent of $12cdn. And I am enjoying every penny!!!

LOL! And to think that I am so tired of seeing Cheerios in our house! I could make quite a small fortune in Niger selling Cheerios!Yeah for Cheerios!

That made me think of finding Oreos in a supermarket in Uganda! Glad you are able to enjoy a small treat! Hopefully you will continue finding them.
