Attends Une Minute . . . s.v.p. . . .

Wait another minute please. . .

So for those with whom I have had contact, this will come as no surprise. However, for those who are wondering about my lack of communication. . .

I am now counting my fourth week of waiting for the internet connection to work at my house. They have promised me that this week it will be working. I am not holding my breath.

There is a French tense out here that I have come to love for this situation! It is the futur simple. This tense is used for uncertain future. I have begun to use this tense when speaking about the possibiity of my internet working.

There are parts of this tense that I find confusing. It is used for many different functions and I have decided that it is far from 'simple'. However, the part I love about this tense. . . it is one word! I simply need to change the ending of the verb and voila - futur simple! To use this tense in English we require two words. I love finding sentences in French that take less words than English!!

Anyways . . . .

As I wait for the internet, I am preparing photos to share.

And, as I am using my friends computer, this will be all.

À la prochaine!

Until the next time!

Kristi
