We never did find out for sure, but there was a loud speaker on the car and someone talking in a local language. Perhaps part of a travelling animal show?? Though, with just one animal - not sure. Maybe they were trying to sell some sort of crocodile type medicine? odd - but made for a great photo. we pulled the truck over on the road for a couple of us to jump out and snap the picture. and then we ran back to the truck as they yelled after us that we needed to pay for the pictures.
